Hurricane Harvey — Just over a week into her role as an anchor, Kaitlin entered wall-to-wall coverage for one of the worst natural disasters in U.S. history. For nearly a week, she spent 12+ hour shifts on-air, covering the extensive flooding, emergency efforts to rescue Houston, and incredible resiliency of the community as they stepped up to help one another.


Funeral of George H.W. Bush — Live from Washington D.C., Kaitlin provided multi-day coverage of the thousands who paid respects to the Houston native and former president.


The Future Is Now: How technology is impacting everyday lives — Continuing to leverage her technical background, Kaitlin regularly writes, edits, and hosts segments on controversial tech issues to help audiences understand the real-world impact of advances in science.
